I earned my veterinary medical degree in 1993 from Ross University
(www.rossu.edu ). I am a federally  accredited, NY State licensed veterinarian, who has been practicing small animal medicine for 15 years.
I have experience working with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, goats, pigs and many wildlife species. I also have a special interest in emergency medicine and have worked at a regional emergency clinic for 15 years.
My goal with this Vet Views series is to help build pet owner awareness of the issues surrounding veterinary medicine. In my practice I encounter many owners who are concerned about their pets and are seeking support and education. My hope is that this Vet Views series will offer information on topics related to disease and the veterinary experience that will help abate some of the fear that many experience while at a veterinary appointments. I also believe that having quick access to accurate information on commonly asked questions will help pet owners make informed decisions about their pet's health care.
